Cache la Poudre River Fly Fishing Report
Fly Fishing report for the Cache la Poudre River: Josh P from Liarflies reported that the upper Cache la Poudre River was lights out yesterday. He didn’t get into any dry fly fishing put he did manage to hook into some sizable fish using a double nymph rig. Our best flies for fly fishing the upper canyon area of The Cache La Poudre right now are the #20 All American Midge and a #18 PT loser. For dry fly fishing our top flies are a #18 Highlander Midge, #18 Highlander BWO and a #18 BWO Cripple. The Cache la Poudre river that flows near Fort Collins has been hot as well. This time of year it is not unusual to be able to dry fly fish all day in the lower stretches. The top flies for fly fishing The Cache la Poudre in town are the same for the canyon. For more information please contact us by email and we would be happy to discuss the goings on in regards to fly fishing the Front Range of Northern Colorado.
